The Medical Institute of Kentucky Hurricane Harvey Relief

The Medical Institute of Kentucky is proud to announce that we took part in the mission of raising money for the Hurricane Harvey relief fund. Hurricane Harvey was a devastating hurricane that hit Texas in the month of August, leaving the city of Houston devastated.

The Medical Institute of Kentucky wanted to be a part of the ongoing support to provide relief to the state of Texas and the city of Houston. We created a Hurricane Harvey relief fund, that included all our campuses in the state of Kentucky.  The Medical Institute has eight separate campuses that were accepting donations those locations were Hopkinsville, Elizabethtown, Lexington, Somerset, Shelbyville, Bowling Green, London and Florence Kentucky. We are proud to announce that through our eight separate locations we collected $486.96.

The Medical Institute of Kentucky was started in 1999 in Frankfort, Kentucky. The program was developed by Dr. Steven Meade. He found it to be of upmost importance to develop a program that could cater to those interested in the healthcare field. His mission was to make the program affordable and timely for students.
